On this occasion Marcello Smarrelli will present to the prestigious public of the festival the foundation’s activity and in particular the XII edition of the Ermanno Casoli Award, won by Francesco Barocco, opening Monday 23 May in Fabriano.

The Ermanno Casoli Award in fact supports the winning artist in the realization of a project that relates to the company’s environment and with the people working there, representing an valid example of how the relation between the world of art and that of industry can become a reality, with great success and gratification on both sides.

Forms of collecting/Forme della committenza is the title of this year’s festival, that intends to investigate the mechanism that regulate today’s forms of art patronage and collecting. This topic will be dealt by artists, curators, dealers, collectors, auction houses and other protagonists of the art world, such as directors of internationally renowned museums and foundations.
