Francesco Casoli, in his capacity as vice-president of the foundation devoted to his father Ermanno Casoli, has been invited to take part in the seminar Salto Culturale. Operatori culturali, Imprese e Amministrazioni Pubbliche alla sfida della crescita intelligente (Cultural Leap. Cultural Operators, Business and Public Administration Meeting the Challenge of Intelligent Growth), that will be held on Wednesday 14 December in Ancona, at the ISTAO Villa Favorita.
Staged by the Province of Ancona, the seminar has set itself the goal of analysing and discussing the most effective modes of operation to ensure that support for artistic and cultural projects becomes a strategic means of increasing the competitiveness of companies in the knowledge economy.
The starting point of the debate will be an evaluation of the experience of Cohabitat, the funding programme of the province’s cultural activities over the three years from 2008 to 2010. Thus an attempt will be made to study in depth the relationship between business and culture from a practical point of view, in full awareness of the fact that the current situation demands rapid and responsible decisions on all fronts.
On this occasion Francesco Casoli will recount the experience of the Fondazione Casoli, which is committed to forging a permanent link and a proactive collaboration between the artistic/cultural sphere and the industrial one, illustrating the solutions adopted to attain this objective and the results of the work that has been done so far.
The day will be concluded by Pietro Marcolini, councillor for the Cultural Heritage and Activities of the Marche Region.
