Confindustria Ancona and Fondazione Ermanno Casoli present Studio per cementare uno spettro (2025, pigmented cement, 340 x 180 cm), a collective artwork created by artist Edoardo Piermattei (Ancona, 1992) as part of the workshop Ho conosciuto Giotto e Giotto ha conosciuto me, curated by Marcello Smarrelli, for the fourth edition of Future Campus Fabriano. The site-specific, permanent work was designed for the Fabriano Industry headquarters and will be inaugurated on Wednesday, July 16 at 5:00 PM.
The work is composed of 153 cement tiles, created under Piermattei’s guidance by over 150 young people (ages 15–18) from the Fabriano area, participants in Future Campus Fabriano — an educational program promoted by the Fabriano Territorial Committee of Confindustria Ancona, aimed at helping young people discover the region and its businesses, identify their talents, and navigate their future.
The project acts as a bridge between past and present, heritage and innovation, leaving a tangible trace of the educational experience lived by the students, and bearing witness to the deep connection between culture, entrepreneurship, and creativity that defines the Fabriano region.
