On Tuesday 17 March at 5.00 pm, the Ermanno Casoli Foundation will host the opening of Esseri a malapena immaginabili at Elica’s headquarters in Fabriano. This site-specific artwork was created by Numero Cromatico in collaboration with 18 members of the Elica Group, and is curated by Marcello Smarrelli.
Esseri a malapena immaginabili (Barely imagined beings) is the result of work developed from the ideas that emerged during the workshop led by the Numero Cromatico collective as part of E -STRAORDINARIO, held on 3 and 4 March 2026 at the Elica headquarters in Fabriano, which involved managers and staff in a creative exploration aimed at connecting the region’s historical heritage with contemporary art and the new frontiers of Artificial Intelligence.
Drawing on the medieval tradition of filigree and bestiaries — tools capable of transforming the mark into a vessel of values and narratives — the participants constructed a personal and shared symbolic imagery, giving life to a bestiary of “barely imaginable beings”.
